Stafford Carnegie Old Library Trust

STAFFORD CARNEGIE OLD LIBRARY TRUST – charity no. 1166001

This charity has been set up in order to preserve and bring into use, (for public benefit), the Old Carnegie Library in Stafford
Our aims are:·
  • As a lobbying and campaigning group, to raise awareness of the increasing state of dilapidation of the Old Library.
  • To petition the Borough Council and the owners of the building in terms of the necessity of immediate renovation and reparation of damage of the building.
  • If the owners fail to do the necessary reparation work, to reach an agreement with the owners in terms of a deal to purchase the building.
  • To raise funds through whatever means possible in order to purchase the building.
  • To repair and renovate the building.
  • To convert the building into a central hub for Arts, Heritage and Culture, for the benefit of the public of Stafford.
  • We welcome new members who would be able to help us out in any way with our campaigning and awareness raising.
