Staffordshire Archaeological & Historical Society

Staffordshire Archaeological & Historical Society (SAHS)

Meet:  Apart from excursions, visits and other events and activities, we have an annual programme of Lecture Evenings (Fridays) held at the Guildhall, Bore Street, Lichfield.
Aims:  Study, investigation, description and preservation of antiquities and historical/archaeological records and heritage.  In particular in Staffordshire and wider, for the education, interest and benefit of the public. By encouraging research, fieldwork, excavation and promoting preservation and publishing the results.
We also arrange meetings, lectures, excursions and visits and publish an annual volume of SAHS Transactions.
