Staffordshire Heritage Group (formerly Stafford Borough Heritage Group) acts as a hub for all local history, genealogy, archive and archaeology groups and societies within the county of Staffordshire who have interests and activities in various aspects of our local Heritage.
We promote, maintain, and encourage good practice, research, preservation of records and collaboration with other interested bodies in connection with local history, genealogy and archaeology.
Our greatest strength is our constant networking between groups, promoting ideas, activities, events, publications and uniting to help preserve our heritage, especially if it is under threat.
We meet regularly, in Stafford, to exchange ideas and information. We sponsors joint events which are normally beyond the individual groups, such as Heritage Days and History Fairs.
