Staffordshire History Group was formed in 1991
Aims:
Formed in 1991 we aim to expand the group’s knowledge of the local history of Staffordshire through a series of historic walks, visits and talks mostly compiled by original research or with added input from local historians.
Meet:
Seasonally for our annual series of walks/visits to local towns/villages and, often private historic houses/buildings. Courses available on ‘Tracing Ancestry’ and ‘Local History Research’.
As a county-wide history group our main strength is our continuous exchange of historic news, views, campaigns and latest research via our group email.
Any new ideas or input to expand the above activities are welcomed.
